About the World Institute of Pennsylvania

The World Institute of Pennsylvania is recognized as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization, based in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. The organization's mission is to provide youth locally and around the world with developmental opportunities through industry-specific internship programs.

Each Industry Youth program seeks to develop the leadership potential of youth from the USA and around the world, through a structured internship program in a focus industry and by promoting that focus industry to the younger generation of future leaders through the support of regional business and government leaders who have an interest in the succession planning of individual companies and to help ensure the success of their industry.

Each internship program offers an environment for career learning to youth here in the U.S.A. and/or around the globe. The measure of success for our efforts is the completion of an internship program which helps youth gain valuable experience in a focus industry, helping them to build and sustain life skills and competency - which can then translate into a cross-generational investment of World PA time, talent, and passion for the benefit of future youth.
